Whirly Bird Attack is an action game in which enemy helicopters must be stopped from escaping off either side of the screen. A machine gun can fire continuously, while five powerful missiles are available for emergencies. Success therefore depends on destroying the helicopters quickly and using the limited special weapons wisely. If an enemy helicopter reaches the edge of the playfield, the game is lost.
