Zombie Calavera Prologue tells the story of Santos Gimenez, whose life is consumed by revenge after the attack on his village. The sinister Pellejo Martinez has destroyed Ataualtepec, bound the souls of its people to himself, and dragged Santos' wife Mara Fernanda into purgatory. Through grief and rage, Santos becomes an undead figure that nothing can stop anymore. The result is a dark revenge tale filled with Mexican horror imagery, lost love, and the burning goal of finding Pellejo and bringing Mara back.
