Zylogon puts you in an isometric shooter where you fly through the corridors of an enemy fortress. The Zylogon, a hostile android race, threaten humanity, and only by breaking through their defenses can you stop them. As the screen constantly scrolls, you must dodge or bomb enemy ships and walls. Your fuel steadily decreases, so bombing fuel dumps is essential to survive. When the timer runs out, the game shifts into a new phase where you can shoot incoming ships against a black background before returning to the corridor run. With only three lives and limited resources, sharp focus is key.
