The player controls a prisoner who starts inside a jail cell, with a much faster moving opponent on the outside. The player attempts to gather all the keys outside the cell while avoiding the opponent character. The doors to the cell temporarily open, and the player must exit through these to grab items, and then return to the cell before being either captured by their opponent or the walls of the jail close again leaving them trapped outside. The opponent rapidly chases the player, but will not enter the cell. After the keys are acquired, the player tries to safely navigate to the doors on the level to move to the next challenge.
