The player controls a small ship at the bottom of the screen that moves laterally and fires vertically upwards. Enemy ships move about at the top of the screen, and 2 or 3 at a time will descend towards the player firing. After destroying all enemy vessels, the player progresses to a faster moving level. The player starts with 3 lives.
