Set in America during the late 1960s, Take the Bullet stars Jack Travis, a bodyguard hired to protect presidential candidate Kincaide during his election campaign. Player must also coordinate his efforts with the rest of the bodyguard team to successfully ensure Kincaide's safety—which happens to be in great jeopardy due to a gang of thugs called Children of Gabrielle, which is out to put and end to him.
