Pokémon Pure Green is a purist enhancement of the original Generation I Pokémon games. Rather than adding later-generation Pokémon, mechanics, or features, Pure Green focuses on refining the original experience by improving Pokémon availability, balancing stats and movesets, expanding move variety, fixing long-standing bugs, and making all 151 Pokémon obtainable in every version. The hack preserves the spirit of Green while improving replayability through quality-of-life enhancements, optional gameplay tweaks, updated sprites, and numerous hidden secrets to discover.
