Handy Harvy is a homebrew arcade action game for the Genesis that takes cues from classics like Donkey Kong, Wrecking Crew, and Disney's Fix It Felix Jr. In the game, a character named Rusty abducts a blonde girl and scales a building, smashing windows as he climbs. Players control Harvy who must chase Rusty to the top while repairing the broken windows along the way. Starting from the ground floor, Harvy must repair every window across 3 tiers to clear a section and advance to the next height. Harvy operates under a strict 75-second time limit for screens featuring multiple ledges. Movement is restricted to pipes for climbing and statues can obstruct his path. Meanwhile, Rusty patrols the highest ledge, hurling projectiles that damage Harvy and cost 1 life loss. Periodically, bonus items like extra time or lives appear briefly and must be collected quickly. The game also features a simultaneous 2-player cooperative mode, allowing a second player to join as Gary.
