An aftermarket side-scrolling space shooter created by an independent Japanese developer. A key innovation is the use of auto-fire - your ship and its two "Options" (the Gradius terminology for miniature ships flying and firing alongside yours) fire automatically. Instead of needing to press the buttons to fire, you instead use them to toggle the Options between a close formation and a spread-out formation.
