Hibari, an ordinary schoolgirl, wakes up in a mysterious room with seven other girls. None of them knows how they got there, but a voice finally shakes them out of their torpor: 'Only one girl who survives to the end can leave the building', they hear. So here they are, competing in what seems to be a macabre game. A few days later, Hibari witnesses the death of one of them and wishes she could go back in time and prevent it from happening. When she wakes up the next day, she realises that the girl she thought was dead is very much alive again: she has thus acquired the power she coveted the day before.
