Escape from Markana 2 consists of 40 multi-screen puzzles (15 in the shareware version). The puzzles have up to 200 screens each. You start each puzzle at a white cone; the object is to get to a green cone. In two of the puzzles, that's all you have to do. In all of the rest you must push gray cylinders or (registered version only) slide gold cylinders under red squares to open a hole, allowing you access to the green cone. Various puzzle elements such as red mines, blue beams, green slabs, green mines, blue teleportation cones, triggered pistons, extra cylinders, and (in the registered version) electromagnets, hole switches, and laser-firing cylinders influence the way the puzzles are solved.
