Broforce is a 2D game that parodies the heroes and worlds of action films from the 1980s and 90s. Broforce involves navigating largely destructible levels in order to reach a helicopter, usually after killing a boss or a devil dressed as a businessman. The player controls a character randomly selected from those available. Over the course of the level, the player can free prisoners, enabling them to resurrect an ally or, if necessary, recover a life and change the character they are controlling. Each character is played in its own way, with variations on movement speed, jumping, main fire, secondary fire and melee attack.
