Battle Unit II for Sharp X68000 is the direct sequel to Battle Unit, a single-player action shooter released in Japan in 1992 by Takumi Soft. The game continues the concept of the first Battle Unit: you control an advanced combat unit (mecha or ship) deployed as the last line of defense against a new wave of enemy forces threatening Earth or its colonies.
