Duel Fighter 2 is a vertical dōjin shoot 'em up for the Sharp X68000, developed by Team Mugen Unagi and originally distributed in the magazine Oh!X in the late 90s. In Duel Fighter 2, you pilot a combat ship in a space war scenario, fighting against waves of enemies and large bosses in vertical scrolling. The plot premise is minimal: you are part of the elite force sent to repel an invasion, and your goal is to traverse several levels full of shots and dense patterns, utilizing power-ups and special weapons to survive.
