First Mission II: Final Mission is a horizontal scrolling spaceship shoot'em up for Sharp X68000, a direct dōjin sequel to First Mission. In this installment, you once again pilot the combat ship from the first part, now on the definitive operation against enemy forces: the “final mission.” The game maintains the side scrolling and the classic structure of six chained phases, with waves of enemies, on-the-fly weapon changes, and a screen bomb that clears all rivals at the cost of some of your energy.
