Shooting 68K is a vertical-scrolling Shoot 'em up in which you pilot a ship and confront waves of enemies as you ascend through space and technological scenarios, with a very classic structure of stages and final bosses reminiscent of the arcades of the era. Besides functioning as a complete game, it was also used as the basis and example for a Shoot 'em up editor for X68000, including demos like Dark Ager, thus allowing players to enjoy an intense shooting experience while simultaneously serving as a showcase for what can be created with the tool.
