"Comix Zone" is a unique side-scrolling beat-'em-up where you play as comic artist Sketch Turner, who gets pulled into the pages of his own comic. After a mysterious lightning strike, his villainous creation, Mortus, comes to life and seizes control of the story, forcing Sketch to battle his own creations to escape. In this interactive comic universe, you can creatively use the environment: enemies are slammed against panel borders, paper pages are torn to reveal new paths, and super moves unleash chaos across the comic book. You're aided by your loyal rat companion, Roadkill, who helps uncover secrets and trick enemies. As you fight through hand-drawn panels, you can discover hidden paths and alternative routes that shape the course of the story. At the end of each level, Sketch receives a superhero rating based on his performance.
