First released in 1990, NAM 1975 is a "shoot 'em up" action game played from a third-person perspective. The player assumes the role of an American Special Forces soldier and fights his way through a harsh battlefield while staying in the foreground of the Move the screen left and right and in the background enemies are shooting at him frantically.
