The game objective is to find and defeat three guardian monsters located within a castle. After defeating the last guardian, a key appears somewhere on the map. Once found, the key opens the door to the final dungeon, where the player faces their fate. The player encounters wizards who challenge them with spells. To defeat a wizard, one must either copy the spell exactly or solve the calculation they propose. The appearance of wizards is random. There is only one potion available in the entire castle. A recorded map of the castle is provided on the same cassette as an independent load for assistance.
