A schoolboy called Kosuke had a dream in which he saw a beautiful woman talking to him. The next morning, he discovers that his new teacher looks a lot like her. Kosuke realises that she is in fact a detective sent to investigate the murder of a student in the gym. The young man must do everything he can to join the investigation, solve the mystery and perhaps impress the attractive teacher. In Himitsu no Hanazono , there are no verbal commands and no real interaction with the environment. Instead, the choices are frequent and fairly numerous. Most of these choices don't affect the plot, although they can alter later dialogue. The player can also navigate the protagonist around the school grounds and inside the main building from top to bottom, visiting locations in any order.
