"The Newsroom" is a very simplified desktop publishing program aimed at novices and children. It uses a simplified step-by-step interface similar to the original "The Print Shop", and bundles a variety of fun clipart images. This version requires a PC, XT, AT, Tandy or compatible with 512K ram, DOS 2.0 or higher. Hard disk, mouse (limited to serial only), joystick, and modem are optional. The 1989 Pro version includes mouse support, and additional clipart.
