Sumeria and Scientific American magazine collaborated to produce Exploring Ancient Cities, an interactive CD-ROM-based exploration of four ancient civilizations (Crete, Petra, Pompeii, & Teotihuacn). All of the pictures, text, and movies in this CD-ROM are easily exported and reused without limitation for non-commercial applications. Stories originally appearing in Scientific American are brought to life with design, imagery, video, music, and narration from Sumeria, allowing the reader to wander through each of these sites. Featuring the narration of Academy Award winner Rod McKuen and the music of Academy Award winner John Lewis.
