In a classic heroic-fantasy world, 6 magicians are freed from a dungeon where they have been imprisoned by a tyrant for generations. They each join forces with a different king in an attempt to overthrow the tyrant and conquer the island on which the story takes place. Once you have chosen your scenario, the game is played in 2 distinct turn-based phases: a management phase and a combat phase. During the management phase, the entire island is represented on a map showing where the troops of each kingdom are located. There are a large number of actions available. When you attack an enemy unit, you switch to a close-up view of the battlefield where you move your soldiers on a turn-by-turn basis. Each soldier has different movement capabilities and skills.
