Foodwar is based on the arcade game Food Fight by Atari. It is an arcade style game where you have try to get to (and eat) an ice cream cone. Combatting you are a bunch of chef's, who come out of holes in the floor. You can combat them by picking up the other foodstuffs scattered around the screen, and throw them at the chefs (in this way, the game is similiar to Michtron's Mudpies).
