"Elvira: Mistress of the Dark" is a dark computer role-playing game based on the cult horror-comedy character. After inheriting an old castle from her late uncle Elmo, Elvira plans to turn it into a tourist attraction. However, on Halloween, the dead awaken, and her great-great-grandmother Emelda, who died 100 years ago, seeks to return to the world of the living to seize global domination. To stop this threat, Elvira hires a ghost hunter — played by the player.
