IF contains four unrelated scenarios that can be accessed directly from the main menu. All the scenarios have the same gameplay: the player reads the large amount of text that accompanies the images, choosing actions or dialogues from time to time. The first two scenarios feature a story with twists and turns and Game Over moments, while the other two unfold in a linear fashion with a single ending.
