In 1999, a high school rebellion that began in Tokyo's Setagaya ward quickly spread, engulfing all 23 wards of the city. The rebellion steadily intensified, and the students began developing all sorts of weapons, eventually creating a futuristic one: a combat suit of armor. Kyoko Asagiri, the second-generation leader of Kojimachi High School in Chiyoda ward, continued her fight to unify Tokyo, eventually controlling half the city. However, her fighting abilities gradually declined due to the daily battles. Banking on her last chance to unify the 23 wards, Kyoko Asagiri single-handedly confronted the Alliance of Parent-Teacher Associations, but was defeated and subsequently disappeared, leaving the 23 wards in the grip of the rebellion. Who will put an end to this rebellion? A new era of student-led warfare, a story set in the Sengoku period, is about to begin.
